Loving God,

I saw you in Izzy today while we were taking pictures in the field. Some candid images were taken, followed by funny jokes behind the camera. It reminded me that your love shines through smiles and brings people closer together. Help me to always be grateful for the ways you show yourself to me, through Jesus Christ our Lord. AMEN.

Bella Chiodo

God of nature,

I saw you in the high peaks that revealed the views you created for the world and the winds that sing your songs. Help me to always push through challenges like the steep rocky mountains that make getting to the top that much more rewarding. In your name we pray. AMEN.

Josh Port

Hey God,

You made yourself known through the cat that approached us yesterday. You got close enough to pet, but clawed at Anthony when he tried to pick you up. It’s like the cat was telling us that you would assist us when we have problems, but not solve them for us. I ask you to grant me the kindness you possess, to help lead others toward finding the solution to their problems. In your name I pray. Amen.

Dear Lord,

Thank you for bringing me up to the magnificent mountain and guiding me during our silent meditation to feel closer to You. Sitting on the mountain’s edge in solitude and feeling the chilling breeze, and to be lying down on the rocks was the best feeling, so in that I say thank you Lord, in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, AMEN.

Hey God,

It’s me. Thank you for showing me the mountains the other day. I thought it was really cool how it looked like steam was rising from them. I hope that through you I’ll be able to continue to find joy in not only the little things, but things as big as that mountain. Through you I pray, AMEN.
